The Data Bulletin name and the hand-drawn pie mark, the site design, the explanations and takeaways, the chart layouts, the code, and the Data Lab are the copyright of The Data Bulletin. All rights not granted below are reserved.

Data produced by U.S. federal agencies is in the public domain. International sources carry their own terms; the World Bank, for example, publishes under a Creative Commons Attribution license, and some sources ask for registration or limit commercial use. The source is named beside every chart. Check that source's own site before reusing a series.

• Share a chart or a screenshot with a link to the page.
• Quote our explanations with credit and a link.
• Reuse the underlying numbers under the terms of the agency that published them, citing that agency.

• Republish the site, its pages, or its chart layouts wholesale.
• Use our data functions to feed another site or product.
• Use our text, design, or code to train a machine learning model.
• Present our explanations or the pie mark as your own.

• Charts are drawn with Apache ECharts, open source under the Apache License 2.0, served from this site.
• Typefaces: Instrument Sans and Caveat on the main site, and Press Start 2P and Pixelify Sans in the Data Lab, all under the SIL Open Font License and served from this site.
• State and country boundaries used on the maps come from public domain sources.
